WARDOGS Wiki is an independent, fan-made guide site. This page explains what happens to your data when you read it. The short version: this site does not ask you to create an account, and it collects nothing that identifies you.

Data we collect

None that identifies you. There are no accounts, signups, newsletters or contact forms on this site. We do not gather names, email addresses or payment information, because there is nothing here to sign up for or buy.

Browser storage

One preference is retained: your theme choice, light or dark. It is stored in your browser's local storage under a single key and stays on your device. It is never sent to us, shared with anyone else, or used for tracking. Clearing your browser data removes it, and the site then falls back to your operating system's light or dark setting.

Server logs

Standard hosting infrastructure may retain typical server data such as IP addresses, requested pages and timestamps for security and reliability purposes. We do not use these logs to build profiles of visitors.

Third-party resources

Typefaces and assets are served from this site. The WARDOGS trailer uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced player, and it loads only after you click play — until then, no request is made to YouTube for video playback. Once you press play, YouTube's own privacy policy applies to that playback.

External links

This wiki links to official WARDOGS channels, including the Steam store page, the official Discord server, and the publisher's YouTube channel. Those sites operate under their own privacy policies, which we do not control.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. Because no personal data is collected, none is knowingly collected from minors.

Your rights

You control the only piece of data this site stores: your theme preference, which you can clear at any time from your browser. Data subject access requests have minimal scope here given how little information exists.

Changes

This policy may be updated as the site changes. The revision date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
